Introduction

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Khaled Sports (khaledsport.com) handles, how we use it and your choices. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Data we collect

You don't need to sign in to browse matches and scores, and we never ask for your phone number. The limited data that may be collected:

• Standard technical data every browser sends to any site: device and browser type, language, the page requested and the time of the visit. It is used to run the site and protect it from abuse.
• Aggregated visit statistics that don't identify you, so we know which pages are useful.
• What you send us yourself when you contact us (such as your email and message), used only to reply to you.

Your account (optional)

Signing in is optional, with your Google account or a link sent to your email, and is handled by Google's Firebase service.

• We keep your display name, photo and email as provided by the sign-in service.
• Your predictions are saved to your account, and your name, photo and points appear on the public predictions leaderboard.
• You can ask us to delete your account and predictions at any time from the contact page.

Notifications and reminders

If you turn on a match reminder or alerts for your teams, your browser gives us a notification address for your device. We store it only with the matches or teams you chose and use it to send the alerts you asked for.

We don't link that address to your name, and a match reminder is deleted after the match. You can stop notifications by tapping the bell again or in your browser settings.

Data stored on your device

Some features save information only on your own device (the browser's local storage) and never send it to our servers:

• Favourite teams and matches.
• Your match predictions (and a copy in your account if you're signed in).
• Your light or dark mode and language choice.
• When the app window was last shown, so it doesn't keep appearing.

You can clear this at any time in your browser settings (clear site data).

Cookies

We use cookies that the site needs to work (for example to remember your language). Third parties such as ad networks and embedded video players may set their own cookies when their content appears.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work as intended.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may show ads through Google AdSense and other advertising partners. They may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this or other websites.

• Google uses advertising cookies (including DoubleClick) to serve ads based on your visits to sites.
• You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings.

Videos and external links

Highlights are shown in official embedded players from their platforms (such as YouTube and ScoreBat), using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. When you play a video, that platform's privacy policy applies.

Links to official streaming platforms take you to external sites with their own policies. Some are partner links that may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you.

Sharing data

We don't sell or share your data, except with the service providers that run the site (hosting, sign-in, notifications, advertising) as far as needed, or when required by law.

Children

The site is for a general audience and we don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data you've sent us. Message us from the contact page and we'll reply as soon as possible.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Changes are posted here with the last-updated date, and continuing to use the site means you accept them.
